Juventud, interseccionalidad, educación y la inserción profesional como derecho

Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo es explorar la producción académica sobre el tema de la juventud latinoamericana y sus desafíos en relación a la garantía del derecho a la preparación profesional y su inserción y permanencia en el mundo del trabajo. Realizamos una revisión bibliográfica centrada en el contexto brasileño de los últimos 30 años. Los resultados mostraron que, por un lado, los determinantes sociales de raza, género, clase social y colonización son elementos que producen diferentes perfiles y maneras plurales de vivir la juventud. Por otro lado, estos marcadores sociales en el contexto actual de la pandemia COVID-19 evidenciaron aún más las desventajas sociales que enfrentan la juventud latinoamericana.

<strong> Youth, intersectionality, education and professional insertion as a right </strong> <br> The objective of this article is to explore the academic production on the theme of Latin American youth and its challenges, regarding the right of professional formation, their acceptance in the world of work and their permanence there. We performed a literature review focusing on the Brazilian context, over the last 30 years. On the one hand, the results showed, that social conditions of race, gender, social class and colonization are elements that produce different profiles and plural ways of experiencing youth. On the other hand, in the current context of the COVID-19 pandemic, those social markers attested even more the social disadvantages Latin American youth is facing.
