dc.description.abstractIn this cumulative thesis, we study various properties of hadrons in a finite volume. The motivation of this work is the following: The Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) is a fundamental theory describing hadrons. The crucial property of QCD is that it is non-perturbative, i.e., the well-established method of perturbation theory cannot be fully applied, as in Quantum Electrodynamics. For this reason, an alternative framework must be put forward in order to address this subtlety of the theory. Lattice field theory provides a first-principle non-perturbative approach to solving QCD, where simulations of particle interactions take place on a lattice of finite size. Of course, working in a finite-sized box comes with its challenges, which must be addressed accordingly. Calculating the mismatch between the finite- and infinite-volume results is the main objective of this thesis.en
