dc.description.abstractObjective of this study was to analyse autoecological and synecological factors and diversity of spider populations in vineyards of the Rhine-area near Bonn/Germany. In addition the impact of plant cover and species density of forest and weed systems on spider diversity was analysed. The wine of this region is mainly culitvated on calcareous Rigosoles. The most abundant spider species determined were: Alopecosa pulverulenta, Aulonia albimana, Pardosa alacris, Pardosa lugubris, Pardosa prativaga, Pardosa pullata, Trochosa terricola, Xerolycosa nemoralis.
