Abstract
We study two equations of KP-II type: the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili II equation and its cubical generalization (gKP-II)$_{3}$.
In Chapter 3, we discuss the qualitative properties of the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili II equation around a line soliton.
In Chapter 4, we prove a global well-posedness result with small data for the (gKP-II)$_{3}$ equation.
