In this paper I address two questions. First why did the anti-Semitism of the Nazi regime lead to genocide between 1941 and 1945 rather than to another era of persecution. Second, I will examine work in progress about the diffusion of Nazism’s radical anti-Semitism to the Arab and Islamic world during World War II and the Holocaust.
