bonndoc - the Publication Server of Bonn University aims to publish the diverse publications generated at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn in electronic format.

The institutional repository bonndoc is operated by Bonn University Library (ULB). Members of Bonn University are thus offered the infrastructure services needed to publish scholarly publications. Publications which are published through bonndoc are available online free of charge and usually without any access restriction.

Bonn University Library is continually improving the system and the set of functions is extended step by step. Any feedback is highly appreciated. Please contact our development team using bonndoc@ulb.uni-bonn.de.

Search Tips
bonndoc offers various possibilities to access the publications provided:

• Sections and collections may be browsed by navigating the web surface
• Publications may be listed according to different criteria. You will find these options under the heading "Browse" at the right hand side.
• You may also search metadata (i.e. bibliographic references) and full texts with the system-related search engine. This is both possible for the whole collection and for the individual sections and collections. You may limit the hit list further by using various facets.

Metadata provided in bonndoc
All publications in bonndoc are enriched by structured metadata. These are used to describe and search the publications. The metadata are also made available for reuse via an OAI-PMH interface. Thus publications may be found in many other reference systems.
