Abstract

his issue of the FEO monitors and assesses the on-going work of the European Commission and traces the implementation of its annual work programme on the basis of the ten priorities outlined by Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker for 2015. Furthermore, it gives an outlook on the challenges ahead for the European Commission and the other institutions in 2016. Our authors include the following ZEI Scholars, Fellows and ZEI Master of European Studies Alumni: Prof. Dr. Ludger Kühnhardt, Dr Tobias Buchmann, Deepak Raj Pandaya, Anna Pokorna, Balázs Kubinszky, Dennis Flück, Tristan Suffys, Nikola Veselinovic, Maria Kapiniaris, Maria Staszkiewicz, Malte Tim Zabel, Thomas Panayotopoulos and Robert Stüwe.

Die aktuelle Ausgabe des FEO untersucht den Fortschritt der Europäischen Kommission im zurückliegenden ersten Amtsjahr. Die Beiträge richten ihren Fokus auf die zehn Themenprioritäten aus dem Arbeitsprogramm für 2015 und schauen auch auf die anstehenden Herausforderungen bei der vollständigen Realisierung der gesetzten Ziele.
