dc.description.abstractA gallamine-tacrine dimer and related analogues are presented. These compounds act as dual-mode cholinesterase inhibitors and additionally as allosteric modulators of muscarinic M2 receptors. Next to their synthesis, detailed kinetic and docking investigations are described to characterize these highly potent compounds.en
